Macky Heads to Hawaii

Macky Franks, a member of the 2010 PNW Junior National Team from Alaska is heading to Hawaii to compete in the Lavaman Triathlon and Honolulu Triathlon.  While in Hawaii he will spend sometime training for Nationals. "I am looking forward to Nationals.  I think by going to Hawaii its a great way for me to kick-off the training season."

Junior Talent ID Race Series coming to the Pacific Northwest

2011 will see the official launching of our 6 state race series.  A Sprint Triathlon race has been chosen in each state of our region that has the appropriate distance for Junior Athletes 16-19.  The region consist of Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington State.  Once the athlete competes in a race we will post the Top 10 Boys & Girls on the Results page.  At the end of the season we will post the winners.  These races are being used as a opportunity for USAT to identify young athletes who have the potential to be a national or world class multi-sport athlete.  Bookmark this Blog for easy reference and updated information.
